MODE OF OPERATION
- The GFW 3600 barbecue skewer production machine feeds the skewers, winds the meat onto the skewers and discharges them onto a discharge conveyor.
- The employees focus solely on sliding the belly strips onto the skewers.
- Firstly, the skewers are separated and fed into the skewer bushings.
- Then two to three operators on each side of the machine slide meat onto the skewers: That’s it for the manual part of the operation!
- The winding device winds the meat onto the skewer and then places it onto the conveyor belt.
- Finally, the skewers are transported on a conveyor belt to the dry marinating area.
- Only the meat needs to be attached; the machine does everything else.
- The operator can work quickly with both hands: approximately 10 to 12 skewers per employee per minute.
- New employees learn very quickly thanks to this simple process.
- 5-7 employees produce as much with the GFW 3600 barbecue skewer production machine as 16 to 20 employees can produce by hand.
- The machine’s ergonomic and compact construction reduces the operational area required.
